Nunney Fayre dates back to a royal charter granted by King Henry III in 1260; revived in 1975, the modern fayre is a pleasant day out for all the family.
Theme of the 2011 Nunney Street Market and Fayre is classic motorsports; a recent lord of the manor of Nunney, the late Rob Walker, was the most successful private racing team owner in history. A display of priceless classic cars is scheduled, as well as an exhibition of world-famous trophies, photos and racing memorabilia.
Admission to Nunney Fayre is free, but a £3 parking charge applies.
