The beach at Clevedon is pebbly but has plenty of rock pools to amuse the
kids. Along the sea front there are plenty of amenities, cafes and restaurants.
Like many beaches in Somerset there are dangerous mud flats which are only
revealed at low tide and the tide goes out a long, long way along the Bristol
Channel.Clevedon has a lovely old pier which is open daily and even has an art gallery which holds many exhibitions as well as more traditional pier activities including boat trips and fishing.
Alos close by is the Clevedon Marine Lake which was built in 1929, the lake works like a lagoon to hold in the sea water when the tide goes out and many people still swim and paddle there today.
