Kilve Beach

AmmoniteKilve beach sits at the bottom of the Quantocks and is a site of Special Scientific Interest. Not only does Kilve have fantastic rock formations but also a wide range of fossils especially ammonites.

This beach is ideal for mooching around in rock pools and looking for fossils, the kids will love it too, just remember to keep them away from the cliffs and to check the tide times before you go.

There is a small pay and display car park above the beach, the village of Kilve is very pretty and worth exploring as well.
